CLAUDIA REID: CATHY SIGNED A LEASE FOR DAMAGE , BUGS AND FLEAS EATING HER FLESH ALIVE!
a friend of mine invited me to her apartment and she is so upset over what she signed her lease for. the listing agent advised her that the apartment was in good condition with no mold and there is plenty of mold. She was living in a studio for 3 months before she entered this apartment she calls home with fleas, cockroaches and as she states she is waiting for a rat to make its debut on stage... anyway. She came to this apartment and they showed her the model apartment that the listing agent showed her and the listing agent told her that she can move in the first of the month but as it turned out, the person who lived in this horrible apartment moved out 5 days before the first of the month. My friend Cathy asked if she could see it.. but the listing person assured her that she would not be able to see it until they lay down the new carpet and clean up.. Clean up my asshole! the place had cat shit under the sink WITH mold, dripping pipe in the bathroom and the list goes on... The stove is an old stove from the 70's horrible.
I know I know I guess you are wondering why she did not call me right? The watcher. The reason I am called the watcher because I see everything and I am very suspicious of people. Cathy was living in a weekly hotel and the hotel was clean... no bugs no nothing. the weekly hotel has an exterminator came in every week and had the maid come in on Mondays to clean the place. the only thing that was wrong with the hotel was the characters that lived there.. crackheads and all types that's why she left because of the people not the clean place. The Listing agent was very nice to her and seem like she understood her situation and told her that she has the perfect place for her to move in on the first of the month and its very very clean (HAH). plus cathy paid money up front and that was the amount to pay to have her move in.. which was 100.00+249.00 and according to the brochure.... that was the amount she was suppose to pay the first month of moving in. Instead she paid 349+690 = equals a bit over a thousand + 20.00 for the start up water bill.
Then she signed the lease thinking that this woman was only trying to help her move and in and made her sign a contract stating that if there are bugs present in the apartment.. Cathy put them there and that's the only way she would have bugs. Cathy was so happy and signed the damn lease anyway. the first and the second night she was being attacked by fleas in the carpet and this place did not move a muscle to get an exterminator to help her until the 15th of the month. Cathy had to buy products to kill the fleas and use home remedies that got rid of them. She had to throw out her bed and return the furniture she purchased because of it. the listing agent played cathy and now she is upset with more fleas...
This is why I have my flashlight and I take pics of the place and I demand to see an actual apartment after they try to sell the model apartment. if you see this place cathy lives in it is falling apart. you can literally see colonies of fleas in the so called NEW CARPET.... and the bite marks on her legs and her side. what a shame.. after Cathy told the people in the place (the listing AGENTs and building managers about the fleas they acted like they did not hear her and didn't give a fuck.take a look at these picks... would you live here?
This is why I go to apartments for people and check it out and give them a report do they can feel at ease on what they are getting. Sorry cathy...

DONT SIGN THE LEASE UNTIL YOU SEE THE ACTUAL APARTMENT AND DONT TRUST THE AGENT THAT WORKS FOR THE APARTMENT MANAGEMENT COMPANY.
Do not sign a lease unless you see the apartment! We are not talking about the model apartments that listing agents show you to wheel you in with because the apartment model you seen is definitely not the apartment you will get... I will tell you that. Aparment agents are very sneaky they will lie there ass off for you to sign that lease. I don't care if the apartment agent is nice and he or she has kids and understands your situation that you will not tolerate bugs or creatures of any kind crawling in your home... Don't sign that lease. Tell the renting agent for that complex you don't want to see the perfect model... you want to see the actual apartment.
There's an awesome story that goes with this... and as time progress I will show you the in and out of the apartment scam. Everyone gets burn once in there lives. Be patient!

Any complaints you may have in your apartment and the apartment manager and the staff don't listen or care.. contact the corporate office with a certified letter. Thank God Im in the apartment Im in... HMMMMM
